Judea /Samaria is great for smaller
groups or for groups that need more room than our main lodge
will hold. Each side has 6 bunk beds with a door that can
be locked between the two rooms or left open. Each side
has a full bathroom plus a sink in the room. |
Judea/Samaria:
The Judea/Samaria building
is perfect for small groups. Each room has 6 bunk beds with
a locking door that separates the two rooms. Leave it open to
have one large room. Each room has a sink and a separate full
bathroom.
Main Kitchen:
The
Main Kitchen will be loved by any cook. It is a fully equipped
restaurant-style kitchen with a 6 ft LP range, a 5 ft grill,
two convection ovens, a full walk-in refrigeration unit, a freezer
and a large pantry area. In addition it has an ice maker, a
threewell sink for washing pots, a commercial style dishwasher,
a commercial mixer and a large counter area with cupboard space.
Chapel/Dining Area:
Our
combination Chapel and dining hall seats about 280 persons and
is located just up the hill from the main lodge and across the
driveway from the main bathhouse. It also is air-conditioned
which makes it a nice cool place to relax, enjoy your meal and
worship the Lord.
Central Bathhouse:
The Central Bathhouse has two
sets of facilities (men's and women's). The women’s facility
has two toilets, 2 sinks and 4 showers. The men’s is equipped
with a urinal, 1 toilet, 2 sinks and 4 showers
Recreation:
• Sand volleyball and full-court basketball are located near the
Dining/Chapel area.
• Horseshoe pits are located nearby for your pleasure.
• A large playing field is
located in front of the Main Lodge.
• Hiking trails are nearby.
Waterfront:
During the summer months, arrangements
can be made for groups to enjoy swimming, boating & fishing
on Waitts Lake. You need to make arrangements with either Winona
Beach Resort (509-937-2231)
or Waitts Lake Resort
(509-937-2400). There is a small fee per person for the use
of their facilities!
• A certified lifeguard must supervise all waterfront
activity.
